Take Me to My Loved One’s Country

I photographed the opening event of the exhibition Take Me To My Loved One's Country where artist Samar Dowidar takes us on a journey to Palestine during the first half of the 20th century through the personal photos and letters of her grandfather Ali Rashid Shaath. Those letters do not only impersonate Shaath’s life but they represent the social life, relationships, and norms of that time in Palestine.
